Alberta Health Services – This link is a one-stop resource centre that provides ample information on various health topics to help guide teachers, childcare staff, students, and parents.

Aspen Family and Community Outreach – Aspen’s services include help with system navigation (old-age security, Alberta Works, AISH, etc), connection to community resources and services, advocacy, and budgeting support.

Drug Support or Addiction Support –  A web resource that provides information and support to people struggling with drug and alcohol abuse.

BowWest Community Resource Centre – A resource for families or individuals needing assistance with housing, food, transportation, clothing & fee assistance.  They also help accessing other agencies & supports, including health and counselling.

The Recovery Village – An organization with locations across the country, dedicated to providing the best treatment possible to those struggling with substance abuse and co-occurring disorders. It is our philosophy that all individuals with the desire and ability to seek treatment are provided with the highest quality care at reasonable rates.  The Recovery Village has information about drug addition, mental health, rehab centres, etc.

Opioid Drug Addiction – a great resource educating individuals in the community about opioid addiction, by providing them with proper substance abuse information and connecting them to the right treatment options if needed.

Sleep Aid Resources –  Tuck, a community devoted to promoting sleep health awareness. As part of their mission, they’ve created resources about the impact addictive substances can have on your ability to fall asleep and reach the restorative stages of deep sleep needed to live a healthy life. They’ve also created guides to treatments for sleep disorders that don’t involve the use of prescription sedatives or other habit-forming substances.

Grants for Native Americans – This website is a aide for financially disadvantaged Native American families with finding grants.  These grants help families with utility bills, energy bills, mortgage payments, rent, medication, education and medical bills.
